La piel que habito

Have you heard anything about the film “La piel que habito” (2011)? I hope you haven't.

This is one of those films that you'd better watch without knowing anything about it. By doing so you will probably experience it better.

In my case, I knew too much about the plot of the film, before watching it. But maybe I would not have watched it if I did not know anything about its plot.

The problem is that it is quite impossible to describe this film without revealing important pieces of the story. 

So, I will limit myself to saying that the film is certainly worth seeing, even if you already know something about it.

The Skin I Live In (Spanish: La piel que habito) is a 2011 Spanish psychological thrillerfilm written and directed by Pedro Almodóvar, starring Antonio Banderas, Elena Anaya,Marisa Paredes, Jan Cornet, and Roberto Álamo. The Skin I Live In is based on Thierry Jonquet's novel Mygale, first published in French and then in English under the titleTarantula. The film premiered in May 2011 in competition at the 64th Cannes Film Festival, and won Best Film Not in the English Language at the 65th British Academy Film Awards.
